Last Persimmon Farmer

This portrays the legacy of the last Japanese American persimmon farmer in Silicon Valley, who was displaced by developers who had no regard for the natural environment. Persimmons symbolize the passage of time  & wealth in Japanese culture. Countless songbirds made this farm their sanctuary, which will be missed, along with the gentle farmer who dedicated his life to becoming a steward of the land he cherished.
